Leah started her accounting career working in the entertainment industry when she joined her family business as CFO. During this time, she developed a robust understanding of accounting and taxation for artists, musicians, and agencies.
Leah worked in public practice at a big-four firm for six years, managing audit, advisory, and tax services for both private and public companies. After this, Leah worked in industry as a Senior Financial Analyst for a multi-national publicly-traded company. In this position, she was responsible for complex accounting and developing tools to track profitability and inventory variances by division throughout the Global Supply Chain.
Leah founded LT CPA Inc. in 2018, initially offering consulting and CFO for hire services. After assisting several owners with hiring in-house accounting staff, she realized the challenge of sourcing talent with adequate skills and decided to build her own accounting team. Her goal was to provide services to small businesses that could not afford a full-time in-house bookkeeper or controller.
